An employee of a self-storage facility in Tulsa, OK, is accused of downloading and distributing child pornography on his laptop computer while at work.
The suspect–23-year-old Tyler Deon Johnson (top photo)–told authorities that adult pornography just doesn’t “do it” for him, according to an arrest report cited by the Tulsa World.
The arrest report says agents with the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation began investigating Johnson on Dec. 31, the Tulsa World reported. About two weeks later, agents downloaded files from Johnson’s laptop through a peer-to-peer service. Investigators then were given a court order that let them pinpoint Johnson as controlling the laptop when the child porn was downloaded and shared.
Agents from the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation arrested Johnson after serving a search warrant April 29 at the Tulsa storage facility where he was working. According to a news release, state investigators said that when they visited the facility, they found “electronic devices” containing child porn.
Johnson faces two counts of distribution of child pornography, one count of possession of child pornography and one count of violating the state Computer Crimes Act.
The State Bureau of Investigation’s Internet Crimes Against Children Unit launched its undercover investigation of Johnson after receiving several complaints regarding distribution of child pornography.
